Applications and Sheriff’s Consent Form for the Background Check can
\nbe turned in at the Honey Bowen Building on Fair Road in Statesboro
\nMondays – Fridays between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please read the following very carefully:
\nALL COACHES MUST BE CERTIFIED PRIOR TO THE START OF THE SEASON!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All coaches will be certified under NYSCA (National Youth Sports Coaches Association). There will be a video tape portion and a hands-on clinic for information.
\nBoth<\/em> segments must<\/em> be completed in order to be certified.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

IF:
\n1) You were NYSCA certified in Soccer last season.
\nTHEN all you are required to do this year to continue your certification is sign a copy of the
\nCoaches’ Code of Ethics. It is mandatory that all coaches attend the hands-on clinic.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2) You are currently NYSCA certified in another sport (baseball\/basketball\/softball\/football).
\nTHEN you do not need to attend the video clinic. However, you must attend the hands-on
\nclinic in order to be certified to coach Soccer. (if you are not sure of your certification
\nstatus, please call John Scalera at (912) 764-5637 or email him at jscalera@bullochrec.com<\/p>\n

3) You are not<\/em> currently NYSCA certified.
\nTHEN you must attend the hands-on clinic and<\/em><\/strong> only one of the video clinics. Attendance is
\nnot optional if you wish to coach.<\/p>\n
