Neal Dunn Memorial Trail Ride at Saddle Trails, Twin City, GA
Date: March 5, 2016
Time: Registration at 9 am; Trail Ride begins at 10 am
Location: Saddle Trails in Twin City, GA
Cost: $20, lunch is included
RSVP if you plan on attending by March 4 to Alison at (912)489-9059 or abrown@bullochrec.com so that we can get a head count for lunch.Stirrup Some Fun Therapeutic Horseback Riding program will host this trail ride fundraiser in remembrance of a dedicated horseman and founding member of the program, Neal Dunn. This is a bring-your-own-horse event. Horses will not be provided. There is a total of 17.5 miles in riding trails.

Camp Sites are available for those who are interested.

Directions:
Directions to Saddle Trails (344 Friendship Church Road, Twin City, GA): From Statesboro, head west on GA-26W/GA-67N/US-25N/US-80W toward North College Street. Continue to follow for 6.5 miles. Turn left at GA-26W/US80-W and go 18.7 miles (through Portal). In Twin City, turn right at GA-23N (N Railroad Ave). Continue to follow for 1.5 miles. Turn right at Friendship Church Road and go 1.8 miles. Saddle Trails will be on your right.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding

This program is designed for children with disabilities or life challenging situations. Horseback riding allows these children to experience outdoor fun while using the horse as a tool to improve posture, self-esteem, balance, coordination and more! Classes are offered in four-week sessions.

2016 Class Schedule for Riders:

Spring Session I: March 22 – April 12
Spring Session II: April 19 – May 10

Tuesdays
5:30-8:00 p.m.

Volunteer Training:
March 8 and April 19
Tuesday, at 6pm

Cost:
$80/session for Bulloch County residents
$90/session for other county residents
